Stephen Picotty matched his season high with seven runs driven in and Brian Ragira added five RBI to help No. 5 Stanford beat host California, 19-6, in a nonconference game Monday.

Kenny Diekroeger drove in four runs as the Cardinal (20-7) won their fourth in five games since being swept in Arizona.

Apparently that offensive problem Stanford faced in Tucson has been fixed.

Diekroeger's two-run double highlighted a four-run first inning while Piscotty added a three-run home run in the second and a two-run single in the third as the Cardinal scored 11 runs in the first three innings.

All the support aided Sahil Bloom, who allowed two runs on three hits over five innings of relief work, in a successful bid for his first win of the year.

Stanford looks to continue its victory parade Tuesday when Pacific comes to town for a 5:30 p.m. start. Like Cal coach Dave Esquer, Tigers' coach Ed Sprague also played for Cardinal coach Mark Marquess on a College World Series championship team.

Every Stanford starter had at least one hit and seven had at least two. Piscotty, Austin Wilson and Eric Smith each added three hits.
