• World issues: General Stanley McChrystal

Stanley McChrystal, a four-star general, former commander of U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan and the former leader of Joint Special Operations Command will appear Cemex Auditorium in Stanford today, Feb. 16 at 12 p.m. McChrystal retired from the military in August 2010. The event is free. Go to events.stanford.edu.

• Dance: Masterclass & Showing: Robert Moses' KIN

Stanford will hold a masterclass and showing with Stanford Artist-in-Residence Robert Moses' San Francisco-based dance company, "Robert Moses' KIN," at Feb. 16 at 4:15 p.m. at the Roble Gym, studio 38 in Stanford. The masterclass is available only to Stanford dancers, but community observers are welcome free of charge. Go to events.stanford.edu.
