Jade Chamness, founder of Break Through the Static, talks about the Jan. 28 bonfire hosted in Palo Alto and the organization's aspirations to create a peer-to-peer support network for local teens who have experienced a loss to suicide and mental health issues.

The bonfire was held from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Boy Scouts' outdoor fire pit at Lucie Stern Community Center. For more information about Break Through the Static, visit breakthroughthestatic.org.

Way to go Jade for your fantastic event and energy. I am really sorry we were out of town and unable to help, but you are amazing. Thanks for doing such a fantastic thing for the community. <3

This is a wonderful video! Thank you Jade and Veronica. Break Through the Static is doing amazing work in our community. And there's ways to get involved. Break Through The Static needs donations and volunteers, as does the larger organization of which breakthroughthestatic.org is a part, Project Safety Net - psnpaloalto.org.

Thank you again for bringing this important information into our community! Once people hear the message, they get it.
