These athletes were absolutely amazing. I'm in my 20s and I was in awe at their passion and physical fitness.

Is the city paying for this event again? Or did they find corporate sponsors this time?

I was a part of the rugby event. My team travelled in from other states, mostly Arizona and we very much enjoyed the event and the days we spent in your community. If it helps in your concern regarding cost, we supported your local hotels and restaurants during our stay and expect to return to support the event next year. Thank you to our generous hosts.

The volleyball tournament will be at Cubberley in the Pavilion this Saturday. Come out and cheer on your favorite senior players!

And a big thanks to the athletes, Anne Cribbs and all the volunteers who worked on this year's California State Senior Games. You only have to be 50+ to compete in the "senior" games.
