Michael Kieschnick, Palo Alto resident and co-founder and president of CREDO Mobile, a San Francisco-based wireless company that donates a portion of its revenues to progressive groups world-wide, talks to Palo Alto Online about his work and life.

CREDO began as Working Assets more than 25 years ago and has donated more than $60 million to progressive organizations, supported by its members -- including many in Palo Alto -- in contacting decision-makers over 20 million times and recently helped register more than 2 million voters.

Kieschnick teaches a course in social innovation to Stanford undergraduates, organized the Secretary of State Project, and serves on the boards of the League of Conservation Voters, the Beatitudes Society and the One California Foundation. He has degrees in biology and economics from Stanford and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard.

Thank you and kudos to Michael for his visionary work for a better society. I encourage any right thinking person to join Credo in creating a more progressive world. Excellent phone service and credit card opportunities that give a portion of your payments to progressive non-profits.
