Former president Jimmy Carter will at Kepler's bookstore in Menlo Park at 7 p.m. tonight (Oct. 26), to sign his new book, "White House Diary."

The book is based on the diary of more than 5,000 pages that he kept during his presidential years.

The 39th president, who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002, is the author of numerous books, including "Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid."

This is a meet-and-greet book signing, according to Clark Kepler. A ticket is required to enter the signing line, which will form at 6 p.m. The ticket costs $32.78 and includes the book and admission to the line.

Kepler's is at 1010 El Caminio Real, near Santa Cruz Avenue, in Menlo Park.

For information on tickets, visit www.keplers.com.

Great

At least the peasants/little people/Tax Payers get to meet a POTUS without having to pay $30,400.

Kepler's should be congratulated for their service to democracy-- we are glad to see them still in business.

So the worst president we ever had is defending against the new contender for that title. How appropriate he does so in the house that surrender built.
