Share
The Menlo College women's volleyball team travels to Point Loma Nazarene (19-11) at Golden Gymnasium in San Diego on Saturday for a 2 p.m. tipoff in the opening round of the NAIA national championships.

The Oaks (17-9) qualified for their second straight visit to the national championships after recording a 12-0 conference mark and winning the Cal Pac Conference tournament.

Menlo lost to Albertson College, 25-22, 28-26, 26-28, 25-12, in last year's first round match in Sioux City, Iowa.

The Oaks have not played 15th-ranked Point Loma Nazarene since opening the 2006 season against the Sea Lions in the Concordia Invitational. Menlo lost in three sets.

Point Loma Nazarene lost its regular-season finale to No. 10 Biola in four sets.

The winner of Saturday's match will advance to the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa for the final rounds that begin Dec. 1.
