Senior Kelley O'Hara provided a perfect finish to a perfect regular season.

O'Hara scored three goals and the Stanford women's soccer team beat visiting California, 4-1, on Sunday to complete the first unbeaten, untied regular season in Pac-10 history.

"It was definitely a good day," said O'Hara. "We beat Cal , check. Undefeated season so far, check. Pac-10 Championship. It was good."

The top-ranked Cardinal (9-0, 20-0) will likely receive the overall No. 1 seed when the NCAA selection committee announces the 64-team draw on Monday at 5 p.m. (PT) on ESPNews.

"This was a great performance by the entire team," Stanford coach Paul Ratcliffe said. "I'm especially happy for Kelley O'Hara. She really deserves that. She's been phenomenal all four years. Hopefully, this will give us confidence leading into the playoffs. Our ultimate goal is the national title."

O'Hara set a school record with 23 goals on the season. She entered the game tied with Sarah Rafanelli (1993) for the top spot.

Stanford, which reached the NCAA Final Four for the first time in 15 years last year, has 70 goals on the season, one shy of last year's school mark.

The Cardinal, which won its first conference title since 2002, will most likely host the first four rounds, if it keeps winning.

O'Hara became the first Stanford player since 1993 to register two hat tricks in the same season, a feat last reached by Erin Martin.

O'Haras lengthy list of accomplishments also includes single-season records for goals and points (55), and the No. 2 spots on the career lists of both categories, after passing U.S. national team great Julie Foudy in both on Sunday.

Stanford became the first Bay Area women's team to finish with a perfect regular season since Santa Clara went 20-0 in 1999 during a 23-1 year. But Stanford has little time to reflect with so much more to shoot for.

"It's definitely an accomplishment," O'Hara said. "But we can't get complacent with just a 20-0 season. We want to go 26-0."

Pac-10 Conference commissioner Larry Scott was on hand to present the trophy to Stanford, which was accepted by seniors O'Hara, Ali Riley and Alicia Jenkins.

O'Hara began her scoring in the 14th minute. Cal was attempting to clear a corner kick but O'Hara charged in to intercept a high kick to head it in.

She scored again 20 minutes later when freshman defender Rachel Quon fed her a nice crossing pass from the right side. O'Hara also headed the ball in.

Castilleja grad Lindsay Taylor started the scoring opportunity from the top of the box as she kept the ball alive before finding Quon camped out on the right side.

Jenkins' long ball set up O'Hara's third goal. Jenkins sent a ball into the box as O'Hara cut across from the left side to punch it over a surprised Cal goalkeeper.

Taylor scored the game's final goal on a long, left-handed kick that sailed over everybody and into the net. Freshman Courtney Verloo was credited with the assist.

Stanford outshot the Bears, 27-5, including a 13-3 advantage on net.

This Stanford squad is an awesome team and also really fun to watch! I, along with half of Palo Alto, am really happy they got the win against the Bears!

This team is amazing. Let's hope Stanford puts up more bleachers for the NCAA games - even the regular season games have been sold out.

The line to the women's restroom was almost one block yesterday at half-time. Any chance the Athletic Department can put extra port-o-potties during the NCAA games?
