PALO ALTO BOARD OF EDUCATION ... The board will discuss renewal of the district's parcel tax, summer school plans for 2010 and a report from the Citizens' Oversight Committee of the district's $378 million facilities bond passed in 2008. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the board room of school-district headquarters (25 Churchill Ave.). View the agenda

PALO ALTO HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION ... The commission is scheduled to discuss a memo addressing the relationship between city administration and Palo Alto's labor force and the ongoing contract dispute. The commission is also scheduled to continue its discussion of the Civic Engagement Award. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, in the Council Conference Room at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
