• Art talk: Maira Kalman
Illustrator Maira Kalman, whose work has been seen on the cover of the New Yorker and in the New York Times, gives a free talk tomorrow (Nov. 3) at 6 p.m. in Stanford University's Braun Hall, Room 105. Kalman is also a children's book author and created an illustrated version of Strunk and White's writers' Bible "Elements of Style."
