I highly recommend visiting this haunted house. It's been great every year they've had it.

Does anyone know if this is the kind of thing that is appropriate for a kindergartener?

depends on your kindergartener. mine wouldn't go in until she was in third grade and we took the neighbour's son who was 4 1/2 at the time. he had no problem but my daughter still got spooked out. this time another kid in 4th grade came along and wouldn't go in.

This has been the brain child of David Scheiman since the beginning. David's dream of giving something for the kids of the school that he attended has never stopped. The folks that assist him are his second and third generation of volunteers and they do a great job.

David started his own safety campaign when he saw that students were being hit by cars at JLS and nothing was being done. He spent his own time directing traffic and it was what caused the city and the school district to provide crossing guards in south Palo Alto out of embarrassment.
