 | Palo Alto police are investigating a report of a man using his cell phone camera to record videos up women's skirts at Fry's Electronics on Monday.
Security staff at the store, located at 340 Portage Ave., called police at about 4 p.m. to report that a man with a goatee was seen attaching a cell phone to the strap of his handbag, which he then would place on the floor near female customers, Palo Alto police spokesman Agent Dan Ryan said.
He would nudge the bag near the women's feet and then would pretend to look at merchandise, Ryan said.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s. He wore a gray baseball cap, gray T-shirt and blue jeans, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Police Department at 650-329-2413.

Posted by Rob, a resident of Woodside, on Oct 8, 2009 at 8:47 am I think they call it high tech, simply because it happened at frys. Which is ironic, because frys is mainly 1990's garbage.

Posted by Sharon, a resident of the Midtown neighborhood, on Oct 8, 2009 at 6:27 pm For all of you out there who like looking up girls' skirts: there's an app for that.Web Link
The interactive Puff! iPhone app from BottleCube lets you "blow" up cute Japanese girls' skirts by blowing on the mic of your phone or tapping with your finger. The harder you blow, the higher the skirt -- and the girl's squeal.
Weird but true.

This is reminiscent of the Fun House at Playland in Frisco. Thanks for the cite, Sharon. Which one is you?
