 | Menlo College senior defender Maryn Craig was named California Pacific Conference Defensive Women's Soccer Player of the Week after leading the Oaks to a pair of wins last week.
Craig, a three-year starter, scored twice and had an assist in the Oaks 6-0 victory over Bethany. Entering the match, the right halfback had scored one goal in her Menlo career, and tripled that total in her 60th match.
She also helped the Oaks to a 4-2 victory over Mills in their first Cal Pac win of the season.
Menlo (2-1, 4-6) plays at UC Santa Cruz on Thursday at 3 p.m.
Men's wrestling
Menlo continued its tradition of giving when it caught and donated fish for the third year in a row as a symbolic start to its season.
The full catch of about 90 fish was donated to St. Anthony's Church in Redwood City.
The St. Anthony's Padua Dining Room has been in operation since 1974 and serves as many as 600 hot meals a day, six days a week throughout the year.
Women's volleyball
Menlo heads into Thursday's match at Dominican following a four-set loss to host UC Santa Cruz over the weekend.
Menlo (3-0 in the Cal Pac, 6-8 overall) looks to gain some momentum heading into a pair of conference matches this weekend.
