 | The Palo Alto Story Project -- a new initiative aimed at gathering community members' stories, reminiscences and reflections about the city -- launched last weekend at the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts.
In this installment, Peninsula resident Carol Gilbert reminisces about her family's trips to Wilson's Candy in downtown Palo Alto.
More Story Project videos will be posted at regular intervals on Palo Alto Online.
To contribute your own Palo Alto story at a future taping session, contact Karla Kane, editorial assistant, at 650-326-8210 or kkane@paweekly.com.

Wonderful story! Let's bring clods back!
I also miss the great ice cream store we use to have in Town and Country
Shopping center. I don't remember the name, but it was a eat in kind of place, with great hot fudge sundaes and fantastic lemonade, made out of real lemons. My children and I would always stop there for a drink before or after the Stanford Football games.
