A 23-year-old man was shot on Saturday night in the area of Euclid Avenue and Bell Street in East Palo Alto.

Officers responded to a Shot-spotter activation in the area of Euclid Avenue and Bell Street at about 9:10 p.m., police said.

Shortly after, officers received a report that a gunshot victim had arrived at a hospital, according to police.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, was driven to the hospital by a private car. He remains in stable condition and is expected to survive, police said.
