Local Little League teams battling in 10-11 all-stars

Palo Alto American and Alpine/West Menlo are still alive in the District 52 Little League Majors 10-11 All-Star Tournament in Belmont, but Menlo-Atherton has been eliminated following a pair of losses. Palo Alto National, meanwhile, plays in an elimination game on Tuesday.

Alpine/West Menlo is the only local team remaining in the winners' bracket following a 9-5 win over Belmont/Redwood Shores on Sunday. Alpine had a first-round bye.
