PUBLIC AGENDA: Comprehensive Plan, Common Core, Housing Element

CITY COUNCIL ... The council plans to review the proposed revisions to all the chapters of the Comprehensive Plan; approve the Community Development Block Grant funding allocation for fiscal year 2015; and review the outreach plan for the Comprehensive Plan update. BOARD OF EDUCATION ... The board will hear updates on counseling programs in secondary schools, a report on plans for summer school and a budget proposal for implementation of the Common Core State Standards. The committee plans to consider housing sites that could be listed in the 2015-23 Housing Element and discuss the work plan for the Housing Element update.
