sorry, but lobster roll with butter is not the way it is done in Maine - they do that further south.
lobster rolls in Maine have just enough mayo to make the lobster meat stick together - and nothing else.
lobster salad implies more mayo and things like chopped celery.

IMO the lobster rolls at the old port lobster shack are better and more authentic Maine style than sam's.

Most of the food we have had over two visits was too salty, too greasy, or two sweet. However, little children seem to like it....it just isn't for most adults.

However, I would not recommend taking children here...the staff obviously does NOT like kids under twelve, at least not on weekends.

The service is sporadic. Sometimes slow, sometimes accommodating, sometimes arrogant and snarky--no consistency.

Not worth the price--I bet it will not be in business a whole lot longer.

There used to be a Mexican restaurant in south PA called the Red Pepper. It was part of a small chain. Their crab enchilada was my all time favorite meal. I read a critic's review of the place, they had the crab enchilada and hated it. Nothing like the awesome, wonderfully tasty crab enchilada at some other place. I went to the other place, tried the crab enchilada, and it tasted like wet cardboard. Yuk! So I had the realization that restaurant reviews are useless, because everyone has different tastes.

A while later the Red Pepper closed, hopefully not because of one bad review.
