Senior Keith Bowman did a lot of rebounding, a good share of the scoring and a little bit of everything else to help the Menlo College men's basketball team leave the Hawaii Pacific Classic with a 92-71 victory on Saturday.

Bowman scored 15 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, five offensive, had a team-high four assists and blocked a shot as the Oaks (3-9) ended a five-game losing streak.

Austen Brooks scored 24 points on 10 of 13 shooting, including a 3 of 6 effort from long range to lead Menlo, which finishes the year playing a pair of games at the Arizona Christian College Classic on Dec. 30-31 in Phoenix.

Mandip Rai added 18 points, including five 3-pointers, as the Oaks shot just over 60 percent as a team, and nearly 48 percent from 3-point land.

Brooks, appearing in his sixth game with the Oaks, took full advantage of his playing time. He entered the game averaging less than a point per contest.

Rai, who was 14 of 44 from long range last year, has hit 19 of 46 3-pointers thus far. He entered with a 4.9 scoring average.

Bowman continues to lead the Oaks in nearly every offensive category, including scoring (19.3), rebounding (7.5), assists (29) and blocked shots (5). His 10 steals are second to John Smith's 13.

Bowman averaged team bests of 13.6 points and 6.8 rebounds, with 21 blocked shots and 13 steals, last year.
