Fresno State wide receiver Davante Adams from Palo Alto High saw his streak of 11 consecutive games catching a touchdown pass come to an end last weekend during the Bulldogs' 42-37 victory at Hawaii.
His streak was the longest active streak in the nation at the time and still stands as the school and Mountain West record for consecutive games with a touchdown catch.
Adams finished the Hawaii game with five catches for 22 yards, which is his lowest receiving output in terms of yardage in his career. Despite the down game, Adams continues to lead the Mountain West in receptions per game with nine and he is tied for fourth with four TD catches. He ranks third nationally with the nine catches per game.
