Authors: Women's memoir writing
Kepler's Books is hosting an author talk on women's memoir writing with Judith Newton ("Tasting Home: Coming of Age in the Kitchen") and Linda Joy Myers ("Don't Call Me Mother: A Daughter's Journey from Abandonment to Forgiveness"). The free event is at 7:30 p.m. today, Sept. 12, 1010 El Camino Real, Menlo Park. Newton is also an emerita professor in women and gender studies at U.C.
