Police locate missing Alzheimer's patient

Woman, 85, walked away from Lytton Gardens, found in Redwood City

Palo Alto police said they have located an 85-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease and dementia who had been missing since Saturday morning.

Naomi Brown, who walked away from the assisted-living section of Lytton Gardens at about 10:45 a.m., was found in Redwood City by officers from the Redwood City Police Department. No further details were immediately available.

Police and members of Brown's family extended their thanks to the community for helping to locate her.
