Road-striping work began Wednesday night, Oct. 10, on San Antonio Road in Palo Alto, according to Public Communications Manager Linda Clerkson. San Antonio was recently repaved between Middlefield Road and U.S. Highway 101 and the road-striping work will take place through Oct. 12 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. in order to minimize daytime traffic impacts, Clerkson said.
"The striping and adjustment of utility valves this week will complete the resurfacing phase of the San Antonio Road improvements," Clerkson stated in a press release.
The final phase of the project will include landscape improvements and is scheduled be finished next month, according to Clerkson. For more information about the project, visit www.cityofpaloalto.org/sa or call 650-329-2295.
