A Redwood City woman who allegedly chased two men with a broken bottle at the University Avenue Caltrain station in Palo Alto was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon early Wednesday morning, Aug. 29.
Wanda Milligan, 52, reportedly punched a man in the chest at least twice and then broke a bottle to use as a weapon at the downtown station at about 12:16 a.m.
She pursued the men around the train station at 95 University Ave. with the broken bottle, which could have caused considerable injury, police Agent Adrienne Moore said.
The men, ages 55 and 45, were not injured. They are residents of Mountain View and San Jose. Moore said the case is not yet completed, and additional information was not available Wednesday afternoon.
Milligan was booked in Santa Clara County Main Jail for assault with a deadly weapon and battery, Moore said.
