The Palo Alto Story Project -- a new initiative aimed at gathering community members' stories, reminiscences and reflections about the city -- launched Aug. 22 at the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts.
In this installment, Enid Pearson, a Palo Alto resident who played a pivotal role in the development and preservation of parks in the city, is interviewed. In her honor, the city renamed the Arastradero Preserve as the Enid Pearson-Arastradero Preserve (click image on left to watch video).
More Story Project videos will be posted at regular intervals on Palo Alto Online.
