Woman dies in crash near Foothill Expressway

Driver may have suffered heart attack, leading to collision

A woman died in a crash about 3:45 p.m. Friday (Friday) near Foothill Expressway and Page Mill Road in Palo Alto, Police Agent Dan Ryan said.

The woman may have suffered a heart attack while driving, causing her car to crash, Ryan said.

Ryan didn't know if any other cars were involved, or whether the crash was on Foothill or Page Mill, but there may be a lane closure as a result.

Please update this article when more information is known about the cause the this crash. There have been too many fatal car crashes on Page Mill Road over the last few months.

The article is dated January 16 (yesterday). Are you saying that the crash did not occur on January 16?

This article is still on the home page of the Weekly and I think that this is an accident that happened yesterday. It sounds similar to another accident that happened some time ago.

Crash happened Friday afternoon on south-bound Foothill near Arastradero. It is sad that a woman died.
