A day camp run by the Jewish Community Center at Terman Middle School on Arastradero Road in Palo Alto was burglarized over the July 4th weekend, with an office broken into and a laptop and digital camera worth a combined $2,560 stolen, Police Sgt. Sandra Brown said.
Anti-Semitic graffiti was also written on a wall of the building and was quickly painted over when discovered after 8 a.m. Monday.
Police believe the burglary and graffiti are related as one incident, although they were discovered separately by day camp staff on Monday morning.
The door to the day camp's office was broken in the burglary.
