Police, helicopter involved in PA police action

Fremont police detectives receive Palo Alto police backup as they move in on house in south/central Palo Alto

Palo Alto police officers and a CHP helicopter provided backup early this afternoon while Fremont police detectives reportedly made an arrest at a house at 245 Wilton Ave. near Park Boulevard.

Officers surrounded the house while the helicopter circled overhead shortly after 1 p.m., triggering queries from curious residents of the south-central area of Palo Alto.

A paramedic van also showed up at the home, reportedly in response to a resident of the house experiencing shortness of breath.

Palo Alto police Sgt. Sandra Brown said Palo Alto officers were there for back-up purposes only and did not know the details of the case or who the Fremont officers were seeking.

It was pretty scary watching police helicopter, SWAT officers with guns drawn & a police dog march down our street! I was relived to see them take the young man into custody.

Now you don't know if they had anything to do with criminals.

It is unkind to jump to judgement, and to mention her business in this context. If you had a home office wouldn't you want your business to be innocent until the facts were known? Would you want your neighbors to assume that you had done wrong, and that no-one should use your business?

It is cruel to affect her abiliy to work by bringing her business into it on the basis of no facts.

Unless the guy they arrested forced his way into the house, I don't think it is prudent to send kids to a camp at a home where police had to raid.
