Skating through winter

Helmets, knee pads, elbow pads...I don't remember being this protected when I learned to skate. Too bad it's usually your butt that you fall on!

It would be wonderful if there were some teen and adult hockey classes, teams here in PA. It seems to me that PA would be a great place for such an expensive sport to start up.
