Palo Alto police cited servers at six Palo Alto restaurants Saturday night for serving alcohol to minors. Police used teen decoys in the sting operation.
The decoys were denied alcohol at six other restaurants, police Agent Dan Ryan said.
Servers were cited at Babbo's Bistro, P.F. Chang's, Long Life Noodle Co., La Playa Grill, Max's Opera Café and Lavanda Wine Bar. The restaurants will be reported to the state Department of Alcohol Beverage Control.
Decoys were denied alcohol at the Palo Alto Fountain and Grill, Fleming's Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen, Pizza My Heart, Sushi Tomo and the Coupa Café.
More undercover operations are planned for the coming months, police say.
