Bomb threat at Stanford Hospital
Police began clearing portions of Stanford Hospital late Thursday
morning after a bomb threat was made.
The outpatient clinics and emergency room were cleared of staff
and patients, and hospital officials were deciding how much of the
remainder of the hospital should also be cleared as a safety precaution,
according to the Stanford News Service.
There was no information available, as the Weekly went to press,
on the nature of the bomb threat or how it was received.
