Board of Education: Palo Alto
The Palo Alto Unified School District is governed by a five-member school board that generally meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month. The board sets direction for the district, approves the annual budget and makes other policy decisions. Elections are held on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November in odd-numbered years. Four-year terms are staggered so that only two or three seats are open at a time. Board members:
