POLLING PLACES, listed on your sample ballot, are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 2. Requests for absentee ballots must reach the San Mateo County Elections Office, 40 Tower Road, San Mateo, CA 94402, by October 26. Absentee ballots returned by mail must reach the elections office by November 2. Absentee ballots also may be submitted to any polling place or to city halls, except Menlo Park's, during polling hours that day.
