(October 24, 2001) POLLING PLACES listed on your sample ballot will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on election day, Tuesday, November 6.
VOTING ABSENTEE. Applications for absentee ballots must reach the San Mateo County Elections Office by 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 30. Application forms are on the back of the sample ballot, or may be obtained by calling 312-5222 or visiting www.shapethefuture.org. They may be faxed to 312-5348, or mailed to San Mateo County Elections Office, 40 Tower Road, San Mateo, CA 94402. Absentee ballots may be delivered to any polling place on election day.
