Fire Department

The Fire Department has eight stations, including one at Stanford
University, one at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center and a
station at Foothills Park that operates only during the summer
fire season. Besides extinguishing fires, the department also provides
emergency medical service and operates a hazardous materials response
unit. The department also has a rescue boat. The following are
