What do you do to speak at a Council meeting?
A member of the public can speak on any item on the agenda or may speak during oral communications on any subject that is not on the agenda. Oral communications are held at the beginning of each meeting. Before addressing the council, a speaker must first fill out a card noting name and address, which is then given to the City Clerk.

Are the meetings televised?
Each Council meeting is broadcast live on Government Channel 26 on Comcast Cable. The meetings also are broadcast on KZSU Radio, 90.1 FM.

Where can I get a copy of the agenda?
Agendas are available in the City Clerk's Office and are printed in the Palo Alto Weekly on the Friday preceding the City Council meeting. Copies of the Council packet are also available for reading in the Clerk's Office on the 7th floor in City Hall and at city libraries. Agenda Hotline: 650-329-2477
