In-line Skating

In-line skating
The local hot spot is Stanford University. The Shoreline trail from the Palo Alto Airport to Shoreline Amphitheatre provides a good trek, as does the 6-mile path along Crystal Springs Reservoir in San Mateo County.

Skate Park
Northwest corner of Rengstorff Park, Mtn. View. Park is open daily from 6 a.m. until one-half hour after sunset, weather permitting. On Saturdays and Sundays, the park is reserved for skaters ages 12 and under from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Nonsupervised facility, must wear helmet, kneepads, elbow pads. No bikes and scooters. Various ramps, rails, pipes in the park. Call 650-903-6331 (recreation division).
