Electric Auto Association, Silicon Valley Chapter, The

Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI)
3420 Hillview Ave., Palo Alto. With major locations in Palo Alto and Charlotte, NC, EPRI was established in 1973 as an independent, nonprofit center for public-interest energy and environmental research. EPRI brings together member organizations, scientists and engineers and other leading experts to work collaboratively on solutions to the challenges of electric power, spanning power generation, delivery and use, health, safety and environment.

NASA Ames Research Center
Moffett Field , Mtn. View. Conducts R&D to create technologies required for NASA missions. Ames scientists and engineers have expertise from astrobiology and nanotechnology to next-generation computing. Ames also is developing the NASA Research Park (NRP).
