Friends of the Mountain View Public Library
585 Franklin St., Mtn. View. Friends raise money for the library through lobby-shop sales and quarterly book sales. Since the early Ō70s the Friends have raised more than $300,000 for various projects, programs and items to enhance library services.

Friends of the Palo Alto Children's Theatre
1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Provides volunteer help, publicity, advocacy and fundraising for the activities and programs of the theater.

Friends of the Palo Alto Library
P.O. Box 41, Palo Alto. Advocates for better libraries; has given more than $1.1 million in recent years to improve Palo Alto's public libraries. Book sale every month on the second Saturday and Sunday at the Cubberley Community Center. Used books can be donated at library branches or at Cubberley. The Friends of the Palo Alto Library is a nonprofit membership organization, with tax-deductible annual dues beginning at $15 ($10 for seniors and students).

Friends of the Palo Alto Parks
425 Grant Ave., Ste. 27, Palo Alto. A nonprofit established in 2004, Friends of the Palo Alto Parks provides funding to improve Palo Alto's parks; fosters greater public awareness and appreciation of the more than 4,100 acres of parkland; raises funds to assist in purchasing additional parkland and open space.

Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health
400 Hamilton Ave., Ste. 340, Palo Alto. Promotes children's health by fundraising for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and the pediatric programs at the Stanford University School of Medicine; grantmaking; and public information and education.

Mountain View Educational Foundation

Mountain View Library Foundation
585 Franklin St., Mtn. View. Provides the library with the financial means to offer special programs that do not fall within its operating budget. It encourages gifts throughout the year, conducts a fall campaign and sponsors fundraising events such as the annual Mardi Gras and CultureFest.

Palo Alto Community Fund
P.O. Box 50634, Palo Alto. Established in 1979 to create permanent community investment capital to support Palo Alto-area nonprofit organizations. Develops a permanent endowment to assess and respond to emerging and changing community needs today and in the future.

Palo Alto Library Foundation
P.O. Box 181, Palo Alto. Established in 2002 to supplement public funding for the Palo Alto City Library and to complement the fundraising activities of the Friends of the Palo Alto Library. To date, the foundation has raised money to expand and furnish ChildrenÕs Library and to furnish teen zones at Main and Mitchell Park branches. The foundation is working with the City of Palo Alto to identify how it can help with future projects. The foundation has also established several endowed funds.

Palo Alto Partners in Education (PiE)
