Chinese Community Center of the Peninsula

A service-oriented, nonprofit center that provides senior community-service work, family-oriented services, and information and referral services since 1968. English and Cantonese. Cubberley Community Center
4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Operated by the City of Palo Alto since 1990, the center includes space for community meetings, seminars, social events, dances, theater performances, music rehearsals and athletic events. Outdoor space includes tennis courts, soccer, softball and football fields.

El Camino YMCA
2400 Grant Road, Mtn. View. Three group-exercise studios, cardiovascular and free-weight rooms with a park view, full gymnasium, updated locker rooms, outdoor lap and instructional pool, youth center. Offers massage therapy, personal trainers and nutritionists, onsite child watch, fitness classes for all ages, youth summer camp, youth sports, swim lessons, youth and adult swim team, more than 100 weekly group exercise classes.
IFES Portuguese Society Community Center
432 Stierlin Road, Mtn. View. Hosts events, such as the Crab Cioppino Dinner, held four times a year. Also celebrates the Holy Ghost Festa in May. Gathering hall available for rentals.
Lewis and Joan Platt East Palo Alto Family YMCA
550 Bell St., East Palo Alto. Fitness center with cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, full-court gymnasium, group exercise studios offering classes such as cycling, yoga and Zumba, outdoor pool, onsite child watch and indoor rock-climbing wall. After-school tutoring programs, basketball leagues, soccer and summer day camp. Aquatic exercise, swim lessons and family swim time available during the summer months.
Lucie Stern Community Center
1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Designed by Birge Clark and built in 1934, this Spanish Mediterranean-style complex is home to the City of Palo Alto's Recreation Department and two theaters. Rooms are available for rent for meetings, weddings, receptions and parties.

Mountain View Community Center
201 S. Rengstorff Ave., Mtn. View. Center hosts classes in cultural arts, environmental education and recreation programs for the community. An auditorium, meeting room and restrooms are available.
Onetta Harris Community Center
100 Terminal Ave., Menlo Park. Provides enrichment classes for youth, teens and adults, including fitness, sewing, computer, ESL, sports and teen gateway enrichment/mentoring. Seasonal special events include Multi-Cultural Day, Halloween carnival, teen dances, egg hunt, family nights, adult game nights and adult dances. Facility can be rented for parties, meetings and sporting events.
Oshman Family JCC - Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life
3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. The OFJCC is a multi-use facility with programs and services for all ages and for singles and families. Fitness center, double-court gymnasium, indoor and outdoor pools, preschool, meeting rooms and a Cultural Arts Hall.

Peninsula Volunteers Little House

Little House is a multipurpose activity center offering recreational, education and cultural activities, including classes, lifelong learning courses and workshops, monthly art and cultural lectures, trips and tours, weekly movies and a computer center. Also offers information and referrals regarding social-service issues. Lunch is served Mon-Fri.
