The Portola Art Gallery will have on display an exhibit called "Beauty of Wood Fire," composed of carved ceramic creations by Menlo Park artist Misako Kambe. Art Galleries'Holiday Show' at Gallery House
The "Holiday Show" at Gallery House will feature art gifts in different mediums at a variety of price points. Pieces will include paintings, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, fabric and photography. A champagne reception will be held on Nov. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m., during which there will be a 20 percent discount on art. Hours will be extended in December. Gallery 9 Los Altos will mount an exhibit of contemporary art by 28 different local artists, depicting landscapes, seascapes, abstract compositions and introspective reflection.
