Art Galleries

'Capturing Light'
"Capturing Light: The World as We See It" is a judged exhibit and sale of 50 prints by members of the Palo Alto Camera Club, including 12 photos taken in Havana, Cuba. A percentage of proceeds from print sales will go to Cultural Kaleidoscope, a City of Palo Alto program supporting art in local schools. Monday-Friday, March 10-August 28, 8 a.m.-noon; 1-5 p.m. Free. Exhibits

'Within and Without: Transformations in Chinese Landscapes'
Fifteen works of Chinese landscape will be on display. Wednesday-Sunday, Feb. 19-Dec. 14., 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thursdays til 8 p.m. (after September 21, the center will also be open on Mondays). Free. Cantor Arts Center, 328 Lomita Drive, Stanford.

For the Love of Dance classes
For the Love of Dance offers training in ballet, jazz, tap and other styles of dance. Serving Mountain View, Palo Alto, Los Altos and Sunnyvale, it is a family-owned studio that teaches dance to children and adults at all levels of ability.
